The circus performer proclaimed ‘Roll up, roll up! Make your choice and choose a door. You just don’t know what you’ll find on the other side!’

‘It can’t be much, it’s just a door’. I scoffed, chose yellow, stepped through and came out the other side.

‘It’s just a door! Nothing’s changed! What a con, I want my money back!’

The performer raised his eyebrows, laughing.

I turned to my wife and daughter in anger.

‘Come on, let’s go’.

She backed away, ‘I don’t know who you are, leave us alone!’

Turns out, I chose wrong.
